Spotlight: TSA awards Nuix with big data contract

Nuix, a provider of investigative and information management technologies, was tapped this week by the United States Transportation Security Administration to supply server-based and mobile investigations software that "will index, interrogate and export large volumes of unstructured data," the group said in it's release. It will also allow for rapid analysis during the TSA's investigations and eDiscovery operations. TSA's requirements for big data software include the ability to process more than 1.5TB per day on a single server and 500GB per day on a mobile station, Nuix said. Read more
