Spotlight: NGDATA spends some of its $2.5 million


NGDATA, which got a $2.5 million infusion of cash last fall, introduced its next generation consumer intelligence solution known as 'Lily' last week. Currently used by several enterprise organizations--including one of the largest retail banks and pharma companies in the United States--Lily combines and analyzes structured, unstructured and semi-structured data to provide recommendations on products and advertisements. Benjamin Woo, managing director of industry research firm Neuralytix, said Lily offers enterprises the unique advantage of being able to collectively amass and act on this data and create smarter, and more effective, sales and marketing campaigns.The Lily Customer Database integrates with applications such as SAP Business Objects, Tableau, SAS/ACCESS, Microstrategy, QuickView and Hive.
